Q: How would you describe Robert to someone who had never met them?
A: This man here was one of the toughest man I’ll ever know! I’ve been through thick and thin and I can honestly say he never left me to stand alone . I’ll miss this man deeply however I will only live knowing I shared some of the best memories anyone would ever ask for! Anyhow as my boy would say … let me man up and continue to shine with the opportunity to have his name live on ! Love you pops and you’ll be deeply missed , RIP my guy … love you always

All good things come to an end. I could write a book about you, Robert, but you’re going to be missed so so much. I just want to thank you for the first chapter in my life for giving me the blessed and most loving children, Natasha and Robert, and our sweet granddaughters Kayla, Keyona, Selina, and Maria. Then they blessed us with great-grandchildren. You fought the battle until it came to the moment it was time to give it to the Lord. As the saying goes, "Till death do us part.” Just let it be known who stuck by your side as you took your last breath and you went in peace. And yeah Robert, your saying goes “only when your around, Dar” and we all knew what that joke meant. I can still hear your laugh. You’ll be deeply missed by all who loved you from the beginning to the end. Miss you dearly.

I am deeply grateful and truly blessed to have known my grandpa and to have had the opportunity to spend the time that I have spent with him. I will remember his humor, kind words, and warm smile that he would show me. He had a knack for always having candy and ice cream, fulfilling every grandchild’s dream. He was also like my cheerleader, always cheering me on and commending me of any of my accomplishments and achievements. I thank the Lord for the gift of my grandpa’s life.

This man was an amazing dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother, and friend. He had a big heart and an enormous amount of love for his family that was endless. We are all going to miss him dearly, but just know he is at peace. And he's looking down on us from the heaven. We will always have these memories to cherish and will always have him in our hearts. We love you so much Dad always and forever.

Robert was such a wonderful brother, he was kind, caring and loved his family. I will always remember his big smile, his laugh and his sense of humor. But most of all how he never ended a text, phone call or visit without tell you "I love you". I will miss and love him everyday.
