I did not know your daughter, but she sounded a lot like my Michelle who passed away 4 years ago this November.
I spoke to you at the funeral home in Watervliet and told you about the survivor resource guide that Jennifer my other
daughter put together to help families after the loss of a loved one. I hope you did receive the copy that I left for you
and that it has been helpful. I have been going to a pastor for grief counseling and it has been helpful.

It is with a heavy heart that I write this note. You may not remember me but I remember Tara as a young girl skating with my son Jeremy Tobin. Tara was the sweetest, kindest most delightful girl...and a great skater. It was a long time ago, but she still shines brightly in my memory.
My sincerest condolences to the family,
With Love,
Robin Tobin

I met Tara when her mom, Louise babysat for my three young children, Patrick, Amber & Mark Lifite back in 1999. My oldest son, Patrick was the same age as Tara and they were in the same grade. Sometimes, Louise invited Patrick to have dinner with them. Me and Louise often saw each other at after school activities for Tara and Patrick. Tara was a wonderful girl!

I met Tara when we both interned together at Miami Seaquarium. We then reunited when we both ended up working with different animals at Seaworld. She had such an amazing spirit and we both had a shared love for figure skating. Tara has such a big heart and was literally there anytime I needed someone to talk to. I am so sorry to her family and friends for your loss. I am so proud to have known her, and to share a friendship with such a strong, passionate individual. She will be missed. <3

To Stew and McDonald family,
So sorry to hear about the passing of Tara. While I mainly knew her via an online game and Facebook, she was a friend. Her love of animals and her family were truly her purpose in this world. You can rest assure that anytime I see picture of a dolphin i will think of her. Stew the pain you feel right now will lessen in time but will always be with you just likevTara will always be with you. Try to find peace that you and her family took care and loved her the best you could.
Regards,
Tom

Louise, Doug, Stew, and Family,
The loss of Tara is beyond devastating! Can’t even imagine what your going through. Tara was such a beautiful person inside and out. She was our funny, amazing, adorable niece. We will always remember the fun and good times we had with Tara and Shaina at the skating competitions in Lake Placid, the Family Thanksgiving dinners, the American Girl parties, and the Special Family Treatment at Sea World. Even with all the pain and illnesses she endured each and every day, Tara possessed unbelievable love and compassion to her family, friends, people who she didn’t even know, her fur babies and all animals. No more pain Tara! May you Rest In Peace and Fly High! We Love you Tay!

Tara stole my heart with her smile and a hug. She told me often that family doesn't have to be just blood, but those our heart chooses. When I acquiesced to join Facebook, Tara was one of the first to "friend" me. To my honor she tagged me as "Aunt". I have always felt blessed to have known and been treated with love by Louise, Doug and Tara. A favorite experience was going to the first Sanrio Hello Kitty store in Tokyo, where Autumn and I bought Tara and Stew their wedding gifts (with Stew's permission), albeit to arrive almost four months after the wedding. The joy Tara expressed from getting the unique, (one item was only for sale in that store in Japan) Hello Kitty items, was far beyond anything I could ever have hoped. To know Tara, was to love Tara. Her smile lit up a room, her sharp wit and intelligence incomparable, but above all her compassion, her love, and dedication to all that she loved (people and animals alike), that was the true soul of who Tara was.
Tara will never truly leave Earth, because she will forever be in the hearts of those who still remain. We, who had the opportunity to know, love and be loved by her, also know she was never truly ours, because we only get to borrow angels for awhile, never keep them.
May all find peace through the joyful memories they hold in their hearts. Much love to Louise, Doug, Stew and all Tara's family and friends. <3 SandiLyn
